With a decade and a half of experience as a qualified builder, my journey began renovating character villas in Devonport, Auckland during my apprenticeship. Since then, I’ve worked across the full spectrum of construction - from large-scale commercial sites building 20 units at a time, to the fine detail of high-end, multimillion-dollar architectural homes.
Eventually I got sick of big city life and took a step back, building a house truck and travelling around Aotearoa to find a new place for the next leg of my journey.
Now settled in Hawke’s Bay with my fiancée, I’ve founded Zenbuild - a company grounded in craftsmanship, integrity, and a passion for building healthy homes. We focus on supporting local businesses and using natural, sustainable materials wherever possible, creating spaces that nourish the people who live in them and the communities they’re part of.
